About us
We compare casinos. We don't run them.
A short, honest explanation of who publishes this site, how it's funded, and what that does and doesn't change about the comparisons themselves.

What Reel Review Notes actually does
Reel Review Notesis a comparison and information site covering UKGC-licensed online casinos operating in Great Britain. We hold no gambling licence ourselves, because we don’t need one: we don’t take bets, hold player funds, run games, or have any operational involvement with the brands we write about.
The site exists because comparing casinos properly takes time most people don’t have — checking licence status, browsing the actual game lobby, testing a support channel, and reading through what a welcome offer really involves. We do that work and publish the results.
How the site is funded
We earn commission when a reader clicks through to an operator from this site and opens an account, in the same way most comparison publishers do. That arrangement is disclosed on every page where it applies, most fully on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Commission income funds the time spent researching and writing this site. It doesn’t buy a better score: the criteria table on our homepage is applied the same way to every operator, whether or not we have a commercial relationship with them.
Who writes this
Content is written by an editor with hands-on experience of UK casino and betting products, reviewing each operator directly rather than reworking a press release. Where a fact could be wrong or has dated, we’d rather leave it out than guess.
What we’re not
We are not a UK Gambling Commission service, not a self-exclusion tool, and not a substitute for GamCare or GambleAware if gambling has stopped being fun for you or someone you know. Those organisations are independent of every operator listed on this site and are the right place to go for support — see our Responsible Gambling page for direct links.
